Love to Rent Week returns after 56% rise in leads during 2025 campaign
Love to Rent Week will return from 28 September to 4 October, following a 56% increase in website leads during last year’s campaign, with a new initiative set to highlight the breadth of careers across the Build to Rent sector.
Love to Rent Week, the annual campaign bringing the professionally managed rental sector together, will return for its sixth year, building on significant growth in engagement and enquiries during its 2025 programme.
Created by Love to Rent, the leading UK platform dedicated to professionally managed rental homes, Love to Rent Week brings together consumers, operators and industry partners to showcase the growing range of rental choices available. It provides the sector with a shared platform to challenge outdated perceptions of renting and demonstrate the standards, services and experiences being delivered across professionally managed rental.
During last year’s campaign, website leads increased by 56%, while video views rose by 236%. Social media engagement also increased substantially, rising by 879% on Facebook, 580% on TikTok and 390% on Instagram, compared with the week immediately preceding Love to Rent Week 2025.
The 2026 campaign will continue to showcase resident experiences, operator insight and the communities being created across the professionally managed rental sector, while also introducing ‘Have a Career in BTR’, a new strand focused on the people and career opportunities behind the sector.
The initiative will feature people working across a range of roles within Build to Rent, highlighting the range of careers available in the sector, and challenge the assumption that careers in property are confined to traditional development, construction or estate agency roles.
Anne-Marie Brown, Founder of Love to Rent, said: “Love to Rent Week was created to give the professionally managed rental sector a stronger voice and to help people understand the choice and standards available to them.
“The growth we saw during last year’s campaign, particularly the 56% increase in leads, demonstrated that there is an appetite for information about professionally managed renting and the homes and services available.
“This year, we want to continue to build on this momentum while broadening the conversation to include the people behind the sector. Have a Career in BTR will give us an opportunity to showcase the range of roles involved in creating and operating rental communities and highlight the different routes into the industry.”
Brendan Geraghty, Chief Executive, Association for Rental Living (ARL), said: “The ARL is proud to support Love to Rent Week and the Have a Career in BTR initiative. As the sector grows and matures, it is essential to attract people of all ages, skills, backgrounds and experience, with clearly defined roles and career pathways. We are committed to supporting those joining and developing their careers through networking, training and education, and initiatives such as our NextGen Pathways programme.”
Rebecca Mulkerrin, Head of Operations, commented: “Renting is changing, but public understanding has not always kept pace. Today’s professionally managed rental sector includes apartments, family houses, co-living communities and later-living homes, serving people at many different stages of their lives. People want to understand not just the home they are renting, but whether their pets can come with them, what kind of service they can expect and whether their new home will provide a genuine sense of belonging.
“Love to Rent Week gives the industry an opportunity to communicate that choice with confidence. By coming together around a shared campaign, we can reach more people, improve understanding and demonstrate the positive contribution the rental sector is making.”
A number of leading organisations have already committed to supporting the initiative, recognising the value of working together to raise awareness of the high-quality homes, services and communities Build to Rent provides, while also highlighting the rewarding and varied careers available across the sector. We are delighted to have Quintain Living, Pension Insurance Corporation (PIC), Moda, Way of Life, Greenwich Peninsula and Related Argent contribute to the week long campaign.
