LandAid Build to Rent Pathfinder
Contrary to popular belief, many young people experiencing homelessness are in work, education, or training, yet remain trapped in the cycle of homelessness as they cannot pass the affordability test for a tenancy. This is where the Pathfinder initiative can make a difference.
Through a wholly collaborative partnership between LandAid, the Build to Rent sector, and reputable frontline youth homelessness charities, our ambition is to create tenure-blind Build to Rent units for young people facing homelessness.
Following a successful pilot programme, LandAid is now asking the Build to Rent sector to unite and help expand the number of homes available to young people who are ready to make the transition to independent living – but simply need a helping hand in doing so.
This is about much more than the S in ESG. This is an opportunity to generate real social value and impact.
