UKAA brings BTR sector together to discuss Renters (Reform) Bill

A recent seminar organised by the UKAA and hosted by Womble Bond Dickinson discussing the Renters (Reform) Bill saw experts from across the Build to Rent (BTR) sector come together to consider the impact of the proposed legislation.

Held on 3rd August 2023, the well-attended seminar looked in detail at how the Renters (Reform) Bill – if passed in its current format – will change assured shorthold tenancies, grounds for possession and abolish section 21 notices. Attendees gathered at Womble Bond Dickinson (UK) LLP’s More London offices for learning, networking, and lively discussion of the short and longer-term implications of the Bill.

The Renters (Reform) Bill seminar was followed by the UKAA London Summer Drinks Reception, also hosted at Womble Bond Dickinson (UK) LLP’s office. The evening provided a chance for UKAA members to connect in a relaxed setting, celebrating the successes of the past year while forging stronger relationships to tackle future challenges.
