The Association for Rental Living (ARL) – the membership body for all institutionally backed, professionally managed purpose-built rental living sectors – has announced Touchstone as a Gold Partner and Single Family Housing Partner of the organisation for 2026.

With 30 years’ experience in the market, Touchstone, part of the Places for People group, provides professional property management services for clients right across the private rented sector, managing over 22,000 homes across the UK and working with some of the UK’s biggest and best-known landlords. Managing Build to Rent for a decade, Touchstone manages, mobilises, and consults on multifamily housing and single-family housing developments for a wide range of clients, from institutional investors and developers to local authorities, across the UK.  

Touchstone has an established relationship with the ARL as an active member since 2019. Representatives from Touchstone sit across a number of ARL committees, including the Operator Committee and the Midlands, Scotland and London and South East Hubs.

Jon Clark, Touchstone’s Executive Director, takes up the role of Co-Vice-Chair of the ARL Single Family Housing Sector committee and the ARL Special Advisor of Single Family Housing.

In recent years, Touchstone has supported the delivery of several of ARL events, including as a Study Tour host, event speaker and contributor to the Best Practice Guide.

The new sponsorship means that Touchstone will serve as the ARL’s partner for single-family housing, furthering the ARL’s focus on this rapidly growing segment of the rental living sector.
