The ARL Welcomes New Member: PJ Livesey Holdings Ltd
The ARL is pleased to announce PJ Livesey Holdings Ltd as a new member.
P J Livesey is a family-owned specialist residential developer with more than four decades of experience in heritage-led regeneration and the sensitive transformation of complex historic sites.
Founded by Peter Livesey in 1979, the Group combines the careful conversion of historic and listed buildings with individually designed new homes, creating distinctive communities that respect the character, landscape and history of each site.
P J Livesey has longstanding experience working with public-sector landowners, local authorities, conservation bodies and development partners to unlock challenging sites where heritage, planning, viability and community considerations need to be carefully balanced.
Today, the Group is exploring a range of residential tenures and delivery models, including opportunities within the rental sector, to help unlock underused heritage assets for housing and give important buildings a sustainable long-term future. This work forms part of its wider Unlocking Heritage for Housing initiative, which seeks to demonstrate the role historic buildings can play in meeting the UK’s housing needs.
In 2026, Georgina Lynch became Managing Director, taking day-to-day leadership of the family business, with founder Peter Livesey continuing in a strategic advisory role.
As a member of the Association for Rental Living, P J Livesey looks forward to contributing its experience in heritage, planning and complex residential regeneration, while collaborating across the sector to help create sustainable, high-quality places.
