***Press Release*** Quadient becomes members of the UKAA

London – 18th November 2019 – Quadient, the award-winning leader in Customer Communications Management (CCM), today announces its partnership with the UK Apartment Association (UKAA).  Quadient’s membership of the UKAA will facilitate two-way communication and the exchange of ideas between Quadient and other UKAA members on inbound parcel management.

The UKAA’s forums provide the ideal opportunity for Quadient to learn from property management companies and architects about the challenges that incoming parcels and packets pose. Quadient, as experts in parcel management, can advise UKAA’s members on considerations to take into account, and relevant solutions that can help the industry meet customer expectations of modern managed properties.

Senel Sowerby, Head of Parcel Management Solutions, Quadient said: “Property management companies and apartment block development organisations have the opportunity to incorporate efficient and effective inbound parcel and packet handling to give existing and prospective residents a value-added service. This also helps staff avoid the hassle that can come with having to track down addressees to complete deliveries.

We’re delighted to join  the UKAA and are very much looking forward to working with other members to understand how we can help meet their needs and the needs of their customers for smooth, convenient parcel and packet handling.”

Quadient helps companies send and receive mail, email and packages quickly, cost-effectively and simply, overcoming the challenges they face managing inbound and outbound communications.

For managed properties, one such challenge surrounds the growing volume of parcels and packages delivered to lobbies and concierge desks as more residents take advantage of online shopping. Increasing parcel volumes can be challenging: recipients are often unavailable when parcels are delivered and storing uncollected parcels can be a security issue.

Intelligent parcel lockers from Quadient can help property management companies transform inbound parcel management. The locker system securely stores parcels and facilitates 24/7 pickup while electronic tracking streamlines the end-to-end process. Residents gain the convenience of collecting their parcels at times that suit them, while staff gain a more secure, traceable means of managing an increasing parcel workload.

Dave Butler, CEO, UKAA, said: “. The fast growing Build To Rent sector is all about  providing great experiences to our customers. Effective parcel management is a key part of that and we are delighted to have experts such as Quadient, on board to share their knowledge and help raise standards in the industry.”
