Inventory Hive Unveils ‘Smart Fill’ to Award-Winning Reporting Platform
Inventory Hive has announced the latest round of updates for their acclaimed inventory reporting platform, delivering substantial time savings for field users producing inventory reports.
‘Smart Fill’ allows users to automatically populate differentiated conditions and levels of cleanliness from a library of over 3,400 descriptors. This feature is a significant time-saver, providing an efficient method for completing inventory forms for properties and individual items within rooms.
The platform now boasts an enhanced interface, offering inventory professionals a streamlined user experience for reading, proofing, and editing reports.
The updated version will now also incorporate existing describing options and auto-fill text, enabling users to combine pre-populated text with their own notes, making editing and copying text a breeze. This enhancement integrates seamlessly with existing templates and reports, ensuring a smooth transition for regular users.
“Given the critical importance of cleanliness and condition details in deposit dispute resolution, this user-friendly feature helps inventory assessors quickly capture essential information,” said Richard Abbots, CEO at Inventory Hive.
“These changes come directly from our user suggestions. Their input is central to ongoing development. It’s always our goal to give our users the greatest advantage in the industry, and we’re confident this latest update will continue to do that.”
Previewing capabilities have also been improved in the update. Users can now view the entire list of items along with their corresponding condition and cleanliness ratings in a single list and jump straight to items for quick edits. This feature allows for quick access to full report previews, facilitating a comprehensive view of a room or property without needing to switch between screens.
Sandy Bastin, Head of Adjudication services at TDS commented “When dealing with end of tenancy deposit deduction proposals the level of detail contained within check-in and check-out reports is key. The added ‘Smart-Fill’ feature should assist with ensuring condition reports are completed, providing adequate and more detailed descriptions that properly reflect the cleanliness and condition of the property. Greater detail increases the chances of the parties being able to agree proposed deductions at the end of a tenancy, without the need for adjudication, and is beneficial at the point of adjudication. This additional feature works well in conjunction with the tenant’s ability to comment on the reports findings.”
