Build to Rent industry’s largest trade show to focus on ‘Better BTR Business’
- UKAA Build to Rent Expo will take place in London on 20th April 2023
- All day event expected to welcome 800+ attendees
- Vast show will include 60+ exhibitors plus expert speakers
The UK Apartment Association – UKAA – has announced the headline theme of its Build to Rent Expo 2023: ‘For Better BTR Business’.
Taking place on Thursday 20th April 2023 at the Business Design Centre in London’s Islington, the all-day event, free for UKAA members to attend, expects to welcome well over 800 attendees.
The largest trade show for the Build to Rent (BTR) industry, the 2023 Expo will be open to both UKAA members and non-members. More than 500 companies will be represented at the show, with attendees coming together to share information, learn, network, and collaborate for better BTR business.
The show will open with a ‘reverse trade show’ which provides the opportunity for exhibitors to connect on a one-to-one basis with major purchasers, using a ‘speed dating’ meeting format. This exhibitors-only event proved extremely popular at last year’s UKAA BTR Expo and runs from 8.15-10.00 am
The main Expo will run from 10.00 am to 5.00 pm, with a series of expert sessions operating throughout the day, exploring the key theme of Better BTR Business. Specific topics within that theme will include the Call for Leadership, Whole Life Costing and Operator Procurement Processes. There will also be a lively, interactive ‘FM Fever’ workshop that will focus on the importance of high levels of professional maintenance within BTR.

The event will conclude with a networking drinks reception – something that was well received at the 2022 event.
The 2023 Expo will build on the huge success of previous events. 65% of surveyed delegates reported that they had 10 or more quality conversations at the 2022 Expo. and 96% of those surveyed judged it to be a “high quality” or “very high quality” event.
