Association for Rental Living leads sector support for the Customer Charter

Association for Rental Living CEO, Brendan Geraghty, led a Build to Rent Taskforce Customer Charter Working Group meeting. As a founder of the Taskforce, the Association for Rental Living is leading the key focus of the protection of consumers, with the development of a Customer Charter at the heart of this commitment – designed to define expectations for resident experience and service levels.

There was great support for the Customer Charter with sector leaders committed to agreeing a single Charter for the institutionally backed rental living sector, to be able to launch by the Summer, following wider stakeholder engagement with government and relevant bodies.

Alongside the latest draft of the BTR Code of Practice, developed by the Association for Rental Living and now open for industry feedback following extensive member input, views on the draft Customer Charter, are now being sought.
