UKAA Seminar: Calculating Social Value in BTR
Join us for the UKAA Seminar: Calculating Social Value in BTR – The Value of BTR in Regeneration
A presentation and discussion about social value in BTR, followed by networking drinks.
The defining characteristics of Build to Rent (BTR) over other private rented sector accommodation are purpose-built, high-quality apartments and houses with high service levels and a sense of community developed through carefully planned amenity spaces, public realm or social activities.
The benefits of such placemaking, however, are not limited to tenants. Nearby residents and public authorities are increasingly aware of how good BTR schemes can revitalise existing neighbourhoods and local businesses.
With investors and developers committed in the long-term, BTR housing has a powerful opportunity to lead the way in developing energy efficient homes that are made to last.
During this event, we will hear from experts with deep experience in working with local authorities in developing and operating large-scale BTR projects who will discuss means of measuring social impact and establishing best practice. You will have the opportunity to put your questions to our panellists and to network over drinks with peers in the sector.
