Social Value methodology & benchmarking workshop

Venue: Gensler: Moretown at Thomas More Square, London E1W 1YW

This event is just a short walk from Tower Hill Underground and Tower Gateway DLR stations.

Many operators dive straight into the deep end when they deliver impact at their assets, without having a conscious, long-term, social value strategy and measurement method in place. Lessons are learnt along the way, slowly, step by step. We help BTR operators deliver better impact faster.

In this workshop we help you construct an efficient set-up of your social impact strategy and deliver this via a measurement and reporting methodology. This includes quantitative and qualitative measurement approaches. What do relevant benchmarks look like for you at each asset, whether industry benchmarks or your own?

Wherever you are on your social value journey, we guide to work out

  • How can you show more of what you do, and do more as a result?
  • What the themes and outcomes that you (can) work towards. What is relevant to you, and how does it differ for each asset?
  • Local priorities
  • Measuring what is being done at the asset, and by whom
    • How much and how well
    • Getting data from suppliers
  • What is the best format to collect data in – is it money or time spent, % of tenants engaged, or number of people that attended an event, for example
  • Working out what types of actions you and your suppliers can also be doing
  • Setting a baseline and an achievable improvement target
  • What does good look like for you? What are your benchmarks?

This workshop is run by Thrive, the social value measurement company, and includes  experts on data, benchmarking and reporting in social value.
