Webinar: Affordable homes for key workers: defining the opportunity in rental
Delivering ‘affordable’ rental housing is high on the political agenda and firmly in the sights of institutional investors. Viability continues to challenge delivery across the rental sector, and affordable is no exception. The size and character of the opportunity for delivering affordable homes vary with location and timing.
This session will share new findings from research into the size and distribution of the UK’s key worker rental market, showing how it has varied over time and with location. That will be followed by a panel discussion on the opportunities and hurdles to delivering rental homes for key workers in the NHS, with Sarah Hordern from NHS Alliance and Iqbal Hamiduddin from UCL, who have both been engaged by NHS Trusts to assess the opportunity.
