A private Chatham House Rules roundtable discussion at the ARL Rental Living Annual Conference, taking place at 08:00 – 09:30 on Thursday 6 November, at One Canada Square, Canary Wharf.  

This invitation-only roundtable will bring together a select group of leaders from across the Build to Rent and Retail sectors – investors, developers, and operators – to explore the synergies between residential and retail in today’s market. The discussion will consider:  

  • Opportunities for new developments with residential and retail as core, complementary elements.  
  • The re-use and re-purposing of existing retail assets.  
  • The role of placemaking and how integrated approaches can strengthen communities.  
  • The evolution of regeneration and the potential for collaborative strategies between our sectors.  

Our aim is to foster a candid and forward-looking conversation that identifies opportunities for innovation, collaboration, and growth across both industries.
