A new collaboration between UKAA (the UK Apartment Association) and Ocean Media is providing UKAA and its members with an enhanced platform on which to engage with housing associations, local authorities, and housebuilders.

The collaboration will see UKAA CEO Brendan Geraghty take to the stage to deliver a session at Europe’s largest housing festival, Housing 2023 in Manchester this summer. Organised by Ocean Media, Housing 2023 will take place from 27-29th June, featuring over 450 speakers and attracting more than 8,300 attendees.

UKAA’s Brendan Geraghty will be delivering a session on ‘Place-led development: place-making, tenure-balance and the long-term plan’ at 9.30 am on 28th June.

In total, 10 different content streams will flow at the event, which will be attended by professionals from every corner of the housing sector. The event will provide outstanding networking potential while addressing key issues, such as tenant engagement and tenant voice, governance, risk, business planning, social care, health and housing integration, professionalism, reputation, quality and the cost-of-living crisis.

A major opportunity for collaboration, networking and best practice learning, Housing 2023 will bring together all those striving to achieve a better housing sector for our communities. UKAA’s new partnership will ensure that the organisation is at all the right tables when those conversations are taking place.

Another benefit of the collaboration is that all UKAA members can attend Housing 2023 free of charge. In addition to the content streams and extensive networking opportunities, the event will feature over 350 sponsors and exhibitors. 60 official fringe events will also take place.

As well as being an official partner of Housing 2023, the UKAA is also an official partner for – and will be speaking at – the HOMES UK/UNLOCK NET ZERO LIVE conference on 23-24th November 2023 at London’s ExCel. This presents another excellent opportunity for the UKAA and its members to engage with a broad range of bodies and accommodation providers. UKAA members will again be eligible for free visitor passes.
